At Long Last ...

... my web site is no longer a design disaster. Poke at it, tell me if it's broken.

Basic design was inspired by Khoi Vinh's Subtraction site. Damn, that's elegant. Read about his grid, though I don't think he's using tables, it's probably all CSS.

I want to control text like that.

I like the contrast of the drop-down boxes on the navigational bar. It's pretty sharp. Seeing Khoi Vinh's site again reminds me that I'd like to see that other site you showed us again too - the experimental site.

in the about section, bio is just a repetition of the home page

other than that, why is the doc pj blog never updated?

Also I am assuming you are just waiting to work out some coding error to put photos on the site. You can't say we are stuck in a verbal world and give us just words.

The 5370 class blog isn't being used by the class this semester (I'm not teaching it), so it's dormant for the moment.

Photos will appear in time.
